Most commonly referred to as simply an "EMG", a complete electrodiagnostic exam includes both EMG (electromyography) and nerve conduction velocity testing.  The two components of the exam are, nearly, always performed together and provide highly specific information about the function of the peripheral nervous system. The results of these exams are traditionally used by the referring provider to help more clearly define the next best steps in patient care.  

 Dr. Plowman, PT, ECS is board-certified by the ABPTS in clinical electrophysiology.  He has performed thousands of exams and is ready to use his expertise and experience to help determine the cause of your or your patient's pain, numbness, tingling, and/or weakness.
